Trojan Cargo Sales Purchase FAQ

1. How much is the deposit?

You must place a deposit to hold or order a trailer. We require a 25% deposit for standard trailers. We require a 50% deposit for trailers with options or custom features. Some fully custom builds require a larger deposit.

2. Can I cancel my order?

Yes. You can cancel your order within 24 hours for a full refund. After 24 hours, we make all sales final. We keep deposits on ordered units because we reserve or build the trailer specifically for you.

3. When is the remaining balance due?

You must pay the remaining balance when we complete your trailer. You must submit full payment within 14 days of completion and before pickup or delivery.

4. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, cashier’s checks, certified checks, wire transfers, ACH transfers, and approved financing. We also accept credit and debit cards with a 3.8% processing fee.

5. Are there any additional payment fees?

Yes. We charge a $20 fee for ACH payments and a $25 fee for wire transfers.

6. Why is there a waiting period after some payments?

Banks place a clearing hold on certain payments. ACH and credit/debit card payments require a 7-business-day hold before we release the trailer. To avoid this delay, pay with cash, a cashier’s check, a wire transfer, or financing.

7. Do you offer financing?

Yes. We partner with trusted lenders, including Clicklease, Sheffield Financial, Rock Solid Funding, and Trailer Solutions Financial. We also offer a Rent-to-Own program with no credit check. Ask our team for details.

8. When do I need to pick up my trailer?

You must pick up your trailer or accept delivery within two (2) weeks after it comes offline. If you delay pickup or delivery, you must pay the trailer in full. We keep deposits if you make no prior arrangements.

9. Do you offer delivery?

Yes. We deliver trailers for $1.90–$2.00 per mile, depending on trailer size.

10.What warranty comes with my trailer?

Every trailer includes a 5-Year Manufacturer-Backed Limited Warranty. Trojan Cargo Sales LLC operates as a dealer, not the manufacturer. The manufacturer handles all warranty claims and service.

11. Will I be charged sales tax?

If you register your trailer in Georgia, we add sales tax based on your county’s rate.

12. Is a triple axle trailer better than a tandem axle trailer?

A triple axle trailer can be better than a tandem axle trailer when hauling heavier loads, longer cargo, or equipment that demands superior weight distribution. With three axles, the trailer experiences less stress per axle, improved braking performance, and increased load capacity. However, “better” depends on your hauling needs. Trojan Cargo Sales helps customers choose the proper axle configuration by matching payload requirements with towing vehicles, terrain, and usage frequency. For everyday utility hauling, a tandem axle may suffice, but for commercial or heavy-duty transport, a triple axle trailer offers unmatched stability and durability.

13. Are triple axle trailers harder to tow?

Triple-axle trailers are slightly more demanding to tow than tandem-axle trailers, but modern designs make the difference manageable for experienced drivers. The added axles increase rolling resistance and turning radius, especially in tight spaces, but they also enhance control under load. When properly matched with the correct tow vehicle, brake controller, and hitch setup, triple axle trailers tow smoothly on highways. Dealers like Trojan Cargo Sales guide buyers through tow ratings, hitch options, and axle configurations to ensure towing remains safe, predictable, and stress-free—even for larger enclosed or equipment trailers.

14.  How stable is a triple axle trailer at highway speeds?

A triple axle trailer is exceptionally stable at highway speeds due to improved weight distribution and increased tire contact with the road. This design reduces sway, bounce, and uneven tire loading, making it ideal for long-distance hauling or high-speed travel. Triple-axle setups also provide better braking response and improved control during sudden stops or in crosswind conditions. For commercial transport or high-value cargo, this added stability translates to safer trips and less driver fatigue. Proper loading and tire maintenance further enhance highway performance, making triple axle trailers a reliable choice for serious haulers.

15.When do you need a triple axle trailer?

You need a triple-axle trailer when your cargo weight, length, or hauling frequency exceeds what a tandem axle can safely handle. Everyday use cases include hauling heavy vehicles, large equipment, commercial loads, or long enclosed trailers where balance and braking are critical. Triple axle trailers are also ideal for contractors and businesses that haul daily and need reduced axle wear over time. If your total load approaches higher GVWR limits or you regularly cover long highway distances, upgrading to a triple axle trailer provides added safety, longevity, and peace of mind.

16.Are gooseneck car haulers safer than bumper pull trailers?

Gooseneck car haulers are generally safer than bumper pull trailers for hauling heavy vehicles or long loads. The gooseneck hitch mounts over the truck’s rear axle, improving weight distribution, reducing sway, and increasing turning control. This setup offers better stability at highway speeds and during braking. Bumper pull trailers, while easier to hook up and more affordable, are better suited for lighter loads. For serious vehicle transport or frequent hauling, gooseneck car haulers provide superior control, safety, and confidence—especially when paired with the right tow vehicle.

17. What can you haul in a 2-car enclosed trailer?

A 2-car enclosed trailer is designed to haul two standard-sized vehicles while protecting them from weather, debris, and road damage. It’s commonly used for classic cars, race cars, show vehicles, or motorcycles with additional equipment. Beyond vehicles, many owners use 2-car enclosed trailers for commercial hauling, mobile workshops, or secure equipment transport. The enclosed design adds security and versatility, making it ideal for both personal and professional use. Proper weight distribution and tie-down systems are essential to ensure the safe transport of valuable cargo.

18.  Is a 2-car enclosed trailer worth it?

A 2-car enclosed trailer is worth it if you regularly transport vehicles or valuable equipment and want maximum protection and flexibility. While the upfront cost is higher than that of an open trailer, the benefits include weather protection, theft deterrence, and long-term asset preservation. Enclosed trailers also offer resale value and can double as mobile storage or workspace. For car enthusiasts, racers, or businesses, the investment pays off through reduced maintenance costs and peace of mind. Financing options from trusted dealers make ownership even more accessible.

19. Who should buy a 6×12 aluminum trailer?

A 6×12 aluminum trailer is ideal for contractors, landscapers, small business owners, and homeowners who need reliable, lightweight hauling. Its packed size makes it easy to tow with smaller vehicles, while aluminum construction offers corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Models like the 6×12 single axle enclosed trailer are perfect for tools, ATVs, lawn equipment, and small cargo loads. For buyers who value maneuverability, low maintenance, and professional appearance, a 6×12 aluminum trailer delivers excellent value without unnecessary size or complexity.
