Buying from Trojan Cargo Sales

On top of that, our team personally inspects and warranties every trailer we sell and works hard to make sure ordering your perfect trailer is easy and affordable.

The Time it Takes to Receive Your Cargo Trailer

We have over 100 trailers in stock at our location or at our holding lot for immediate shipping or pick-up.

Ordered standard trailers take approximately ten working days to build.

Options trailers take longer, depending on the options you choose.

If your order needs customization, a sales team member will contact you to discuss a delivery date.

Delivery of Cargo Trailers

Yes, we deliver to 48 states!  Delivery prices are based on per-loaded-mile one-way. When you purchase your trailer for delivery you’ll pay a deposit and the delivery fee.  We’ll schedule the driver and give you the driver’s contact information. At the time of delivery you will have a few papers to sign and pay the remaining balance to the driver.

Cargo Trailer Hitch Size

CLASS ONE HITCH

Gross Trailer Weight: Up to 2,000 lbs
Tongue Weight Capacity: 200 lbs
Vehicle: Passenger Cars (sedan type) and light crossovers
Used for Towing: Motorcycles, small boats, and lightweight cargo trailers

CLASS TWO HITCH

Gross Trailer Weight: Up to 3,500 lbs
Tongue Weight Capacity: 300 lbs
Vehicle: Midsize sedans, small trucks and mini vans
Used for Towing: Snowmobiles, utility trailers

CLASS THREE HITCH

Gross Trailer Weight:
Up to 3,500 – 6,000 lbs
Tongue Weight Capacity: 300 – 650 lbs
Vehicle: Pickup trucks, Mini Vans, and Full Size SUV’s
Used for Towing: Midsize boats and campus and utility trailers

CLASS FOUR HITCH

Gross Trailer Weight:
Up to 6,000 – 10,000 lbs
Tongue Weight Capacity: 600 -1,000 lbs
Vehicle: Heavy duty pickup trucks and large SUV’s
Used for Towing: Midsize boats and campus and utility trailers

CLASS FIVE HITCH

Gross Trailer Weight:
More than 10,000 lbs
Tongue Weight Capacity:
1,000 – 1,200 lbs
Vehicle:
Heavy duty & commercial trucks

Standard ramp door on an 8.5 wide hold roughly 4000 lbs of rolling weight. You can upgrade to the extra heavy duty 5000 lbs  Super heavy duty 6000 lbs.  The 6 & 7 wide trailer standard holds roughly 2000 lbs.

You can upgrade to medium duty which holds 3000 lbs.

All tandem axles have electric brakes and a brake on each axle.

Cargo Trailer Tubing

All tubing used to build a Cargo Trailer is steel square tubing that measures 1 x1.5”.
